A plastic piece came off the bottom right corner of the screen section, but this laptop has otherwise proven hardy in the year and a half I've had it.
Pros: -Aesthetically, it is very good looking. -Speed has been smooth -Screen is bright and the picture is excellent for the resolution. -I like Windows 8. What? I like it. -I almost never use the Flex modes, but it is occasionally helpful such as for using a touch game with a friend in a car or plane, and everyone seems very impressed when I flip the keyboard around.
Cons: -Cursor sometimes disappears for some reason. Not sure if that's laptop or software related. -The multifinger trackpad gestures like scrolling don't always load properly. There seem to be two separate drivers controlling it, and they fight with each other. Resetting fixes this, but it has come up many times. -Plastic piece snapped off. -Battery life has significantly decreased, though it's still functional.
After extensive research, I bought this on Black Friday of 2013. The only thing that had me worried was people complaining about screen lighting and how it randomly goes dark or happens to be dark more often than not. This was an issue, but I found that it was an environment sensor built in that adjusted the brightness as it sensed how well (or lack thereof) the area you were in was lit. This was a quick fix by going into the settings and turning the sensor off. So the screen brightness is back to my control and I can set it to blinding standards if I so wished. For the rest of this review I'll list pros and cons with some explanation.
Pros: Nice size screen Super fast start up Runs fast Keyboard has cover between the keys to limit food and junk entry Touchscreen is pretty cool. Great battery life. Great graphics Very portable
Cons: Touchscreen would randomly zoom in and out when I wasn't touching it (Searched for solution. Only thing I found was to turn the zoom by touch feature off, wasn't what I desired). The built in speakers start to sound bad if the volume is above 36 (out of 100) almost like a strained speaker. If I pick it up by the left corner while in use, it restarts. USB ports keep reconnecting my phone, flash drives, and portable hard drives when plugged in (almost as if the are loose like a loose light bulb that flickers). Touchscreen completely stopped working after after 5 months (I've searched forums, lenovo's website, and all over the internet, but have found no solution to this problem. It could be part of the 8.1 update a while ago, but that is unclear). Left click on mouse pad sometimes right-clicks instead. (Note: Most of these problems occurred after 5 months of use)
Maybe most of these problems can be resolved easily, but if so I haven't found them.

It’s been four years and I hate this computer as much as I hated it the day it arrived. Wasted money on a warranty I was never able to figure out how to use. Had issues from the start. Hate how it feels. Never could use the touchpad well. The screen is top heavy and even with rarely using it, the touchscreen stopped working.

Really liked this laptop for the couple weeks that I had it but the touchscreen seemed to not be quite right on my model and so I returned it. The battery life also didn't seem to be quite as long as what was advertised but still pretty good. Overall it is a great laptop and if it wasn't touchscreen and didn't have Windows 8 then I'm sure I would still own it but I have since found something more suited to my needs and wants.

Laptop is awesome. The speakers are not all that great. It's loud but the sound is not a really high quality. The brightness gave trouble at first but it seems like that's a given when you buy this laptop. There's an easy fix to it though (just to change brightness settings that it was automatically set to). Haven't used up all the memory yet so that's good. Only other problem is how slow it took to open apps at first but that somehow straightened out.
So far it's a really good laptop, with no problems now. It was well worth my money so I wouldn't discourage anyone from buying it. (And the flex is fun to use- especially when watching a movie!)

These seem to have a recurring problem with breaking hinges and the one I ordered arrived with a crack already at the left hinge. I was planning to return it when the operating system crashed. I know this isn't a hardware problem and someone more knowledgable would have been able to get it going again but ick. Case cracked on arrival, system crash, bye bye. I subsequently ordered a somewhat less powerful computer from Acer at a lower price point and have been very happy. Build quality seems much better. It would be hard for me to recommend a Lenovo (even at the small sample size).
This laptop is nice. I thought I wouldn't use the flex feature but I find myself coming back to it. The keyboard is very nice, however the touch pad feels as if I could easily break it by pressing to hard in the corner. The laptop starts fast and has no problems doing everyday tasks. Games such as League of Legends can run on high with no shadows. Overall this is a great laptop for the price I got it ($600)!
I love my new laptop! It is really nice to have a laptop that can also be used as a large touch-screen stand.I updated my drivers and updated to windows 8.1 from the installed 8.I was able to change the settings on the power screen so the brightness doesn't dim.I had heard about complaints of the screen dimming, it is just simply a setting that is for power save and light adjustment. I'm very happy with my purchase. The laptop wouldn't boot initially so I called support and all I had to do was reset it from the reset button beside the power button. Lenovo support was very helpful and easy to deal with, they even called me back to see that I was happy with how the laptop was working. Windows 8 takes a bit of getting used to but I now prefer it.
5.0 out of 5 starsGood mix of features and performance

I bought this as part of Amazon's boxing week Lightning Deals, and I feel like I got a lot for my money. It was gift for my wife, and she's delighted with it.Good chip performance, happy with the touchscreen. We use the fold-back function when watching media anywhere in the house. Happy with the speakers in the folded back position. We like the one-button system restore feature (haven't had to use it yet, but it's comforting to have the option there so easily).I've had other machines that I had to re-install the OS from scratch and it isn't fun.More powerful than an average tablet in comparable price bracket, with great touchscreen functionality.Really nice sort of cross-over product in our opinion.
At first the laptop was temperamental. For the first few days when I booted up, the screen wouldn't turn on. After fiddling with the settings (and determining that allowing the laptop to sleep is NOT an option) I was able to get it to work nicely. I recommend downloading Start Is Back, since the windows 8 interface is overwhelming.
The E7250 Non Touch listed here is lighter than the touch screen version, tipping the scales at just 2.75 pounds. That is a full quarter pounder less than the Macbook Pro 13. Some of the highlights of this business class ultrabook are the plethora of ports including HDMI, Network, USB 3.0, Mini Display Port, Audio and SD Card Reader as well as a built in webcam. The front facing speakers offer incredible sound for their size and this tiny notebook can quickly and easily become a desktop using Dell's E-Port Plus Some of you might appreciate the spill resistant keyboard that can take on up to 6 ounces of liquid. This laptop comes stock with a solid state drive that you can upgrade if you choose. This is a great deal on a super thin, super fast Intel 5th generation, laptop. This laptop offers a great balance between size and portability. The screen is 12", the laptop weighs 2.8 pounds and it is super thin. It's a great notebook to alternating between travel and work! The charger/ac adapter is included. This laptop is ready to work right out of the box.
